We stopped by Good*Will in between Dr. visits. It was HOT!! The air was out and it was 106 outside....imagine inside! Ughhh

I shopped quickly...very quickly. This is my haul!
Terrycloth queen bedspread...$15

Love the detail on the frames. Plan on painting white and distressing a little or a Robin's Egg Blue.

I decoupaged the wooden part and plan on using
this in my classroom to hold prizes.

Not too bad for a quick...and SwEaTy...shopping spree!

Chalkboard Change

Just a little change on my kitchen chalkboard. Love the cute summer feeling it gives!

My wonderful daughter bought this magazine for me! She works at a local book/movie/music/coffee shop store and gets a discount!

My sister was looking through it and said, "Diana, they copied you!!" I didn't understand what she meant until I looked at the magazine.
***Now, I KNOW they didn't copy me but it is really cool to see the same ideas in a magazine!

MINE.....you have to look closely. I am preparing 6 tables for my classroom. My amazing, wonderful ,fabulous, principal allowed me to try doing away with desks and go with kitchen tables. Hopefully, this will allow for a closer knit class feeling!! HoPeFuLlY!!!

First Booth Adventure!

My first adventure in my own booth!

I haven't checked on it in a week, however, last I heard
I sold ONE book. REALLY?? ReAlLy...oNe stinkin' book?!?!?!
I may not have this booth next month! Oh well, I
tried and that is what is important...rIgHt???

Booth Update!
I checked on my booth yesterday and I sold A LOT!!! Wahoo!!!!!! What a great feeling! I love to play...it's nice to get a little $ for crafting my crapola!
Added a few more items and rearranged!

Cigar Boxes

I happened upon some cigar boxes and knew I could come up with something. Put my creativity gloves on and got to work!!!

I recently opened a booth at a local flea market and needed something to carry my "fixin' stuff" in.

to this....holds my tape and hot glue sticks
Took the "blade" off a foil box and hot glued onto the cigar box. It's all in one place.
